I wanted to create a simple, easy-to-understand guide on how to secure
home wireless networks (Wi-Fi networks). Many home users don't know how
to properly secure their networks, which leaves them vulnerable to
attacks.
In 2013, I published this guide in Arabic as a 30-page PDF. I kept the
language simple and avoided technical terms so that ordinary home users
could understand it. The guide was well-received and received positive
reviews.
Recently, I updated the guide and made it available as a one-page
website. This makes it easier for people to access the guide without
having to download a PDF. It also makes it easier to update the guide in
the future and translate it into other languages.
I have also created an Android app for the guide, which can be
downloaded from the Google Play Store. The app makes it even easier for
people to access the guide and learn how to secure their home Wi-Fi
networks.
The guide is open-source and hosted on GitHub. This allows anyone to
improve, add to, or translate the guide under the
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license
